Painting

News Year's Day I woke up and decided that I wanted to tackle painting the basement computer room. Picking a paint color and actually having it look like I imagine in the lighting of the particular room that I am painting in, must be more difficult than astrophysics. Sometimes I wish that Ty Pennington would knock on my door with a big megaphone and decorate my house for me, but in the mean time I will rely on our local heroes at the Home Depot paint counter. They were actually really nice and tinted a few of the "mess up" paint cans for me to get close to the color that I wanted. After all it is only the basement and at this point anything will look better than what it was before. Roman and Hayden were my side kicks while Jason moved furniture. It got a little messy, but my boys have never been the type to sit back and watch. Like most kids they want to be involved in everything. When we were done we all hopped in the car to hurry and catch the next showing of "The Water Horse".
