Ah, the relief of being done with finals! I had my last final today which was a personal interview with my professer and was divided into four parts. The last part of the final was a 5 minute presentation that I prepared in advance and I chose to expound on Debussy who was part of the Symboliste movement in music during the 19th century. His music is so relaxing, it's almost like a dream. Light and airy with flute and harp. There is no predictable melody. He breaks all the rules like the Impressionistes. Ever notice that all the "Greats" were the rule breakers? Those who threw convention to the wind and found their own brilliance. In fact yesterday I was making cookies and just on a whim I added an extra pinch of salt and they were delicious. Like Eleanor Roosevelt said, "Do something every day that scares you." Break Free. Live. Put that extra salt in your cookies! Ha Ha Ha.

OMG, Tara!
I just noticed the caption on the side about your music and I just listened to it! Your voice gave me chills!
You talk about being daring with salt but you are REALLY brave by doing what your heart desires! Good luck, you are great!
Right on, Tara! I am a firm believer in breaking the rules or at least bending them a little.
We are so glad that you are finishing your education. Your little boys will be the benficiaries of your love of learning to learn!
AT and UP
You go girl! Break those rules (I always break them - wait, what are the rules?) lol
