I have never known the joy of Perennials like I do here in Utah. The climate permits these beautiful flowers once planted to pop up dutifully every spring and give way to an ultra-slow motion fireworks show of color, beginning with yellow daffodils in April, followed by red tulips and ending with a grand finale of purple irises and then orange tiger lillies in mid summer. I did not plant these bulbs, but I definately reep the rewards of someone else's botanical choreography every spring and I love it.
